Re: [gnome-love] Hello

Miguel,

One thing that I think would help GNOME out quite a bit is a
gnome-love.gnome.org web site that would have worthwhile abandoned or
unmaintained projects for people (such as the ones on gnome-love mailing
list) to browse and possibly decide to pick up and run with.

I don't know if there are many of these in the GNOME CVS, but I do run
into them sometimes on SourceForge. I wouldn't mind working on
something like this also. It would be like Adopt-a-Project.

Sincerely,
Christopher D. Felton

My short term goals are to find a simple project or one that is just
getting start, lurk, question, and learn. Something small so I can

on C and GTK+ at the same time, then contact me.

It depends how deep you want to delve into. I would suggest to look
at the various GNOME Games, as they are pretty simple, and they could
definetly use some bug fixing, and some polish on the user interface.

The development in the games is not very active, and they are good
terrain to learn.

Miguel.
