[gnome-love] procedure

What is the procedure for getting a new task to work on?  I know we're
supposed to check the todo items at http://www.gnome.org/todo .  Once we
find something we'd like to do, I assume we:

1. email contact person telling them of intentions to work on task.
2. complete task
3. mail patch to contact person for review?

Do we need to modify bugzilla if these tasks are bugfixes or will the
contact take care of it?
