dear gnome community members,
i'm new to the gnome community... i would like to
contribute as developer or as translator to any gnome
project.
i wonder if some of you could tell me the steps to take
to get my way through.
thanks in advance!
Hi Javixu, you are welcome.
Please describe the domain of your interest, are you looking for GUI
programming, translation, documentation. Probably you are more
interested in web-programming or something like this. It will help us
to find the task that is suitable for you.
All recent problems are tracked in gnome bugzilla. Go to the
http://bugzilla.gnome.org and create an account. Also you probably
would like to know how to build gnome from CVS. You can find
instructions on http://developer.gnome.org
Just to start, there is quite simple Evince bug in bugzilla, which you
can handle:
Bug 323429 - Automatic scrolling during selection
Of course, it's just an example.
