Don't worry about that, I'm giving up with the .src.rpm and using the source tree instead.

The good news is that the patch to enable multimedia keys in gnome-cd (which hasn't
made it to the RHEL distro), works fine there so I can now use the FF, REW, PAUSE etc.
keys on my laptop.
