Hi all,
I've been working in downman these two weekends, and finaly did a
release. Interested people can take a look at downman-0.0.5.
The daemon now uses the gnome-vfs async functions to do the work. I have
renamed everything from download to transfer. And by the way did a
better separation of the Transfer object and the TransferThread object
(multiple threads are closer now :)).
So the next moves are:
	- implement the gnome_vfs_async_seek function that is missing in gnome-vfs
	- work on the seek () support for ftp and http (there is a patch in
bugzilla for http already) so that we can have *RESUME* support, what is
a transfer manager for if it is lacks resume support?
	- move to bonobo for activation and communication.
So what is the current status?
	- Are there any bits of the bonobo implementation I can look at?
(daemon, middleman)
	- Is there an _interface_ defined for the clients?
	- Is there a list of what functions will go into libgnomenetwork to
wrap such interface?
I would like to start moving downman to use the bonobo work in
gnome-network now, since it is the next natural step. If there are no
implementation bits, is there a good definition of the daemon structure?
features that will have? ...?
