That's correct. Today I tried to find a solution to that, but due to the
way that SMB handles the 'Guest' login when browsing IPC$, and due to
the way that libsmbclient returns it's errors (ie: mixing EACCES and
EPERM), I don't think there's a simple answer here.
I'm going ahead and applying the patch, which should fix many problems.
If a solution to this use case presents itself, I'll incorporate it.
