what you mean for binary compatible? i can aspect only interface problem
... and maybe some difference in the stream or in the coding but i
don't think that in this case the was such kind of problem ... i thought
tha t most of the change was bugfix or little performance improvments
between the 2 versions
BTW I do that when I haven't any other fast way to get the things
working ...usually I don't do in this way ;-)

dunno gm for sure because i didn't change anithing just run ./autogen.sh
and ./configure
and compile
