And concerning H263: how can I check it?
You have to make a call to somebody who has H.263 too, then you will see
in the "General History" that H.263 is used.
Notice that if you are using yesterday's snapshot, it would be nice to
see if you are still satisfied of the quality of the video that you are
sending (not receiving, sending) compared to a few days ago. I have made
changes both for how H.261 and H.263 are used.
you can use the cvs archive at
http://snapshots.seconix.com/archive/debian with:
"deb http://snapshots.seconix.com/archive/debian sid main" and then
supply versions to apt-get.. you might need to request certain
combinations of the libs as apt might not autosatisfy the versions but
list them as broken dependancies. You can always get the list of
available versions with:
apt-cache show gnomemeeting-cvs|grep ^Version:
Description: H323 Compatible Netmeeting clone for the Gnome Desktop
Netmeeting clone for the Gnome Desktop. Supports LPC10, GSM-06.10,
MS-GSM, G.711-Alaw and G.711-uLaw audio codecs and H.261-QCIF and
H.261-CIF video codecs. Also supports H.245 Tunneling, Fast Start,
Auto Answering of calls, ability to register to ILS directories
and browse them. Gnomemeeting comes with an animated Gnome applet.
What is the Gnome Desktop Netmeeting clone? :-D
This archive is currently having a 2 weeks-rollback (i had to cut it
from a 4 week rollback the last days, as it was taking almost 4GB and i
ran out of space on my www partition *g*)
Ok, thanks for those hints.
Daniel
