Yes, I know that I am transmitting since Andy can see and hear me. Also,
I am running a bandwidth monitor, wmnet, so I can see that I am sending
out between 20 and 60 kB/sec when Andy and I are connected.
Andy is also running wmnet, and Andy's computer is transmitting about
100 kB/sec. Also, when I connected with acetyl, presumably acetyl's
computer was transmitting. The problems seems to be that I am not
receiving.

It does look like something on my end is dropping packets. I hope that
it is my firewall and not my cable modem or ISP's router. I will test a
connection without my firewall tonight or tomorrow.
I am afraid that maybe it is not the firewall because the firewall is on
DMZ which is set to pass through all packets to one of the IP addresses
in my internal network (the IP of the computer I am using GM with). If
the problem is with my cable modem or ISP's router, then I have no
control over the packets being dropped. My guess is that the ISP's
router is dropping packets for all ports above some fixed port number,
like perhaps all ports above 2000 or all above 3000. If that is the
case, is there anything that I can do? Would it be difficult to hack GM
or H323 so that it uses a lower port number?
