GnomeMeeting has no problem talking with any H323 compatible
video-conferencing programs. (MS Netmeeting included).
The problem lies in the directory functionality, ms has decided to rule
out every program that doesn't identify itself as MS Netmeeting, and
GnomeMeeting authors have refused to make GnomeMeeting miss-identify
itself.
Everybody is free to set up a ILS server that is fair to all software,
the way ils.seconix.com does. If you want to use GnomeMeeting with
another ils server, tell its administrator, or hack a little in the xml
files suplied with gnomemeeting. We won't do that ourselves.
