If, for example, dominance's -cvs packages had both, you mean? ;-)

Of course, if it doesn't work, one would have to apt-get source then
build pwlib and gm, only enabling one of avc or dc, to check that it is
really the combination of both that is the problem, and not the support
of that one that is broken...
