application than GnomeMeeting.

Try with xawtv, for example, if it doesn't work either then the problem
is with the module.

I think it is something related with the device, make sure ls -l
/dev/video* has the right permissions, the right major and minor
numbers. Also check the content of /proc/video/ to see if video0 appears
there. If the module is correctly loaded, then it should appear there.

Also check that the USB module and the videodev modules are loaded or
compiled into the kernel...
