Hi,
I don't know what is happening.
I have hours of success in useing the new drivers on the new cards on
ohpone. I have not tested with GnomeMeeting.
You see, you report the cards work well with nixj.
Thus, the record, playback, nbring, and dtmf tools all work.
Do you have any problems if you use ohphone?
Interesting, the results are not symmetrical. It works on one side, but
not the other. If the setups are identical, the results would be
symmetrical. Can you step through the settings of the two GnomeMeetings,
and compare. Are the machines identical?
Are there any error messages sent to the kernel log files?
The messsages you report below are all fine. Very fine.
Error messages are quite different.
Do you have the line
alias char-major-100 ixj
in /etc/modules.conf?
If you have this line, there is no need to do modprobe ixj.
Derek.
