[GnomeMeeting-list] "Error while registering with Gatekeeper"

Hola!

I'm running gnomemeeting 0.85 under RedHat 7.3 [upgrading isn't an option
due to some of the software that we run having OS dependancies].

My gatekeeper/gnomemeeting setup has suddenly gone wonky on me - on a
regular basis, but not all the time, gnomemeeting errors out trying to
connect to the gatekeeper, with the message:

	"Error while registering with Gatekeeper"

When this happens, I don't see any traffic on the gatekeeper, nor do
other clients have the same problem at the same time.

Typically, this occurs when using the registering method 'gatekeeper id',
it doesn't occur with 'automatic discover' [but calls don't work
correctly with 'automatic discover'], and it also doesn't occur with
'gatekeeper host', but that's per machine, which isn't workable in this
environment.

I'd love some hints on how to get around this - unfortunately upgrading
isn't an option.
