Hello,

0.85 is very old, and things have changed a lot since that version
(which was released 2 years ago). I'm sorry to say that upgrading might
be the only solution.

We would like to be able to provide a statically compiled version of
GnomeMeeting for such cases, but we are unable to do so at the moment.

Notice that a debug 3 output might help understanding the problem.
