gnome-font-private.h:50: parse error before "FT_Face"

I am trying to install gnumeric 1.0.4.  In my attempts to get it to
configure, I've downloaded the following:

gnome-print-0.35/

I'm now getting an error trying to make gnome-print-0.35:
