Hello all,
I am new to this group.
I wish to know, where the TTF fonts can be set to used for typing in

Can anyone help me ?
Sorry for the delay I took a weekend off away from the keyboard.
The answer depends alot on which version you are running.
gnumeric-1.0.x depends on gnome-print for its fonts. Current
versions of gnome-print do support ttf fonts via freetype but
doing to voodoo necessary to configure them is ... undocumented.
I suppose someone somewhere knows, but I have not seen anything
about it.
gnumeric-1.1.x the development branch uses pango which is alot more
amenable to this sort of thing. You should be able to get away with
just tweaking your fontserver and fontconfig will magic things up
for you.
Good Luck
Jody
