i used a patch sent to this list with dmalloc 4.6.0 and things seemed to
work great. I think it would be really nice to have the dmalloc support.
yesterday i tried to go through a server-application looking up every
possible memory-leak and since the server uses glib for it's eventloop such
a job was much easier when i could trace the glib-memory calls too and get
correct file and linenumbers.
i would like to keep dmalloc support and could send in patches to get it to
work with 4.6.0 although these have already been posted one time.
