GTK_NO_CHECK_CASTS vs G_DISABLE_CAST_CHECKS

configure in in Gtk+ currently has:

if test "x$enable_debug" = "xyes"; then
  test "$cflags_set" = set || CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -g"
  GTK_DEBUG_FLAGS="-DG_ENABLE_DEBUG"
else
  if test "x$enable_debug" = "xno"; then
    GTK_DEBUG_FLAGS="-DG_DISABLE_ASSERT -DG_DISABLE_CHECKS -DGTK_NO_CHECK_CASTS"
  else
    GTK_DEBUG_FLAGS="-DGTK_NO_CHECK_CASTS"
  fi
fi

The GTK_NO_CHECK_CASTS doesn't affect anything, because that
functionallity has moved to G_DISABLE_CAST_CHECKS.

Can I check in a patch that uses G_DISABLE_CAST_CHECKS instead?
