Compiling error for Glib-1.3.5

When I compiled glib-1.3.5 under Cygwin, I got many error messages which
look like:
/home/glib-1.3.5/gobject/genums.c:165: undefined reference to 'g_log'
/home/glib-1.3.5/gobject/genums.c:193: undefined reference to 'g_log'
...
Does anyone has an idea to fix those kind of compiling errors?
