The one in gtk+ is gdk-pixbuf 2.0, and the standalone one is
the stable branch.
Every other GNOME library also has two branches, the 1.x branch and
the 2.0 branch.

It's already done I believe. The problem is more the other way
(bugfixes from unstable branch aren't always going back to stable).
