I configured and compiled pango 0.25 last night on Solaris 8 (SPARC) using
sun compiler.
Configure worked.
make worked
make install failed when attempting to install documentation. I narrowed
that down to the fact that I don't have jade installed and so some
documentation files aren't getting built.
I completed the remaining subdirectories by hand, running make install that
is.
After I finisned, configure for gtk+ failed on pkg-config search for pango.
I figured out that none of the .pc files were installed for pango. Are they
suppose to be installed by the "make install" command?
Now, when I try to build gtk+, it chokes because it can't find pango header
files.
I must be doing something wrong when I build Pango. Any suggestions?
