Presumably the libtool maintainers would have a better chance of
figuring out a problem with GTK+'s libtool invocation, than
I have of figuring out a HP/UX specific libtool bug.
(Maybe it has something to do with convenience libraries? pango
glib and gtk+ all use them, most packages probably don't.)
[ Since I still don't even know what the libtool invocation line
was, my chances are precisely 0. ]
