gdk_screen_width in 2.1.1

Hi,

At work, I have garnome-18.0 compiled with gtk 2.1.1 (which is supposed
to fix an important bug in 2.1.0).

I noticed some strange menu behaviors in metacity and traced them to
gdk_screen_width and gdk_screen_height.

Those functions return 'random' values that have nothing to do with my
real screen size.
Are there any known problem with those functions in gtk 2.1.1? Maybe
something related to the recent multi-screen updates.
