I agree with this. But I find it irritating that Seth's mockup wasn't
posted here a while ago so that people would have had a chance to
comment on it earlier. I also find it irritating that you ask me to
discuss this with Seth, since I think that such a discussion belongs
on the mailing list and shouldn't be kept private.

Anyway, Mitch is already working on porting GIMP to the new
file-chooser as found in gtk+ HEAD and we will try to come up with
comments on the current design as soon as we had a chance to play with
it some more.
