GTK Tree View

Hi All,

  I am not able to follow the GTK API documentation for the following APIs.
 1.   gtk_tree_view_set_enable_search
Control + F is giving search box, but searching is not proper.
2. gtk_tree_view_set_search_column
3. gtk_tree_view_set_search_equal_func 
I am not getting any search box if I press Control+F for above two APIs.
How can I use them in my code and what is the expected behavior of these APIs?
Any pointers or sample code ?
