Profiling of GTK APIs

Hi

For the sake of an analysis i need to profiling of low level APIs of
GTK when used by various applications.

Will the modifications in "gtkdebug.h" 
or 
debug flag in gtkmain.c help me for that.

How do i find low-level APIs of GTK ?? thats the main Q
