Language Support: Malayalam

Hi

 

My native language (malayalam - ml) is not properly supported in GNOME. Rendering of some characters is not perfect in GTK+ applications (especially with "chillaksharams" & "koottaksharam" where two characters are combined to form a new one.)

 

I was closely following last 3 versions of GNOME (namely 2.6, 2.8 and 2.10) and found no big changes or improvements in the way GNOME handles Malayalam language.

 

From where can I get the list of peoples or group who currently maintains Unicode display and rendering in GNOME, so that I can work with them to improve it.
