Yep. GIMP needs all the information it can get, especially for JPEG,
where it needs to actually have a look at the quantization tables from
the image file.

I think it should be fine to start integrating gdip-pixbuf-loader into
gtk+/trunk now then? Will start on it this evening, probably, unless
somebody else beats me to it.
