subclassing GtkTreeModelFilter

Hey all,

Looking for feedback on
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=604150 which includes a patch
I wrote to make GtkTreeModelFilter more-useful for subclassing.

I'm using this prototype implementation at the moment in Telepathy-Gtk,
for a GtkTreeModelFilter that provides filtering options for a contact
list (e.g. filter by availability or capabilities).
