Print to file widget bug fix feedback

Hi guys,
             I have uploaded an updated bug fix to an issue I asked for feedback on a couple of weeks ago. I had to use g_signal_handlers_unblock_by_func to stop and event being triggered to early. As I'm new to gtk it would be good if you guys could give me some feedback on my patch.
