Am I just special or is the recent indexing feature broken for
everybody? I am using gtk-doc from CVS (about 15 hours old as I write
this), I added an <index/> tag to the end of my *-docs file and reran
everything (a few times, after cleaning out stuff sometimes, just to
check there are no old stuff interfering).
Links in the index end up looking like
http://172.16.15.241/~malcolm/foo/libsmil-smil-init.html#id2773853
which is the right HTML file, but a completely bogus fragment id. So I
end up on the right page, but not at the right function. In this
particular case, it should be
http://172.16.15.241/~malcolm/foo/libsmil-smil-init.html#smil-init-document
This is all using the XML output, a fairly recent version of libxml2,
libxslt and version 1.50 of Norm Walsh's Docbook stylesheets (by no
means the latest of those, but pretty stable nonetheless).
So has anybody else got it working correctly? If so, what magic words
did I forget to incant? I am reluctant to file a bug report at the
moment, since I am not sure what is really going wrong yet ("it's
broken" is hardly helpful).
Cheers,
Malcolm
