This is a bug in the docbook xsl stylesheets. It got fixed in docbook xsl
cvs when I reported it a few weeks ago. I don't know when a new version of the
xsl stylesheets will be out...if you want I can dig up the url to the bug
report including the fix, so you can apply the 1-line patch yourself in the
meantime.
