Hi folks!
I wanted to ask you what are your plans on porting GTKmm
and other related libraries to various platforms. I choose
GTKmm as the GUI library for my application and thus I could
now (even if I havent really tried it out) compile a win32
version of it. Now I noticed that GNOME libraries contain a
lot of useful functions and newest GTKmm includes also
glibmm and gnomemm wrappers. Are these parts going to be part
of win32 release too?
glibmm/gtkmm and libglademm are already available in my gtkmm-2.4.2
installer for win32 (mingw32). I guess it should not be too much work to
port libxml++ (I haven't tried though). Porting the gnome libs is a much
more difficult task, especially natively (without the cygwin posix layer).
See the dependencies/installation order list at
http://www.gnome.org/start/2.6/notes/rninstallation.html for details. I
don't think it will be done in the near future.
