Runtime crashes by building all cairo-drawing exampels from the gtkmm-book on windows xp.

 Hello everybody,

i need the cairo drawing area widget, but I have always runtime crashes
after starting the builded .exe what ever I do.
Even the examples from the gtkmm-book too (All from chapter 15 except
the "Drawing Images with Gdk", where cairo don't be used).
I work on Windows XP with actual Cygwin-Configuration.

Does anybody have an Idea?
