Follow-up Comment #9, bug #12223 (project mc):
It is certainly possible on some systems. The Linux console, the Cygwin
console, QNX and X can be queried for the state of the key modifiers. Maybe
it is possible on other systems too. MC already has code which queries the
keyboard modifiers on these systems. I guess it won't be a big deal to
implement what Felix requires on the systems listed above. I guess patches
which implement this funtionality will be considered by the MC developers.
