Josh,

Make sure the user you are building the RPM's with has permission to open
windows on the X server.  I sometimes get this if I am running X/GNOME as
user XXX and try rebuilding the Nautilus RPM as user YYY.

Typically you can just do "xhost +" (or perhaps "xhost + 127.0.0.1" if you
aren't behind a firewall and care about security) as the user who is
running the X server and you may need to set your DISPLAY environment too,
such as "export DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0.0", as the guest user.  If the user
who is trying to rebuild the RPM can open a new xterm window, then things
should be fine.
