I'm really not sure what the author of this particular bug is looking
for, that isn't already satisfied by the scripts folder. I don't have a
deep understanding of what it takes to make a script, though, so is
there anything that I'm missing that turns this bug into something
other than WONTFIX?
My thought on this is that it's not worth too much effort to remove
enhancement requests just because they have some overlap with existing
features. We have plenty of work just sifting through the real bug
reports.
That having been said, the idea of this bug is to have a special kind of
folder. If you drop icons on this folder it would run the script. I'm
not sure it's a great idea, but it's not the same as a scripts menu.
