Re: [PATCH] gnome-vfs: Don't monitor read-only filesystems



A temporary solution would be to disable FAM in /etc/xinetd.d (just drop a
disable = yes line in the fam config, then service reload xinetd).

Both nautilus and konqueror should revert to polling.  Unless you have a
thousand NFS clients, that won't be a problem at all.
