Sure. There are some optimizations re: caching based on serial number
that can still be made, but it does work right now. Sometimes I get
funny permissions problems with remote floppies, but that's completely
an mtools problem.
It would be bit odd to have two ways of accessing a floppy, though.
AFAIK, KDE just uses mtools. Is there any reason for mounting floppies?
My users were not good at remembering to eject when using thick clients,
leading to broken filesystems. Prospects of getting the
hardware to auto[un]mount are pretty dim :-/
