not strictly true - I should clarify:
Nautilus Browser mode is a separate class but it does inherit from the
same base as spatial does. Because nautilus browser has a lot more
functionality it has a lot more code specific to it hence my comment
that it would be more time consuming for me to learn/alter the bloated
browser stuff. Conversely the spatial code is (like its interface) more
minimalist and cleaner hence easier to hack for a first timer like
myself.
