Alex wrote that thumbnailing mode switches on file size treshold, not pixmap
heigth and width. That way it is really hard to guess whether the small (in kB)
.jpg file is
a) big (e.g. 96x96) icon, THEN downscale to normal icon size,
or
b) nicely compressed normal image (e.g. 640x480), THEN thumbnail it with
fancy border and dropshadow.
Are there any problems with checking picture dimensions instead of byte size?
