Sorry to be quite late with a reply to the thread, returned from
vacation. As a theme author I don't think the ability to have emblems
arbitrary size is much of a feature myself. I would much more appreciate
to have emblems treated exactly the same way as any other context in a
theme. It feels odd to stuff a 32x32 bitmap in a 48x48 folder and define
its Size=48. Yes, this red square is really a blue triangle. The
spinners are an exception because we lack a decent format for RGBA
animations.
