You can checkout latest sources from anonymous CVS http://live.gnome.org/Sysadmin/CVS/Anonymous you need nautilus module. For a starting with GNOME you might want to visit http://developer.gnome.org/ You'll probably need to use something like jhbuild/GARNOME to build it. Some documentation on nautilus internals can be found directly in nautilus sources in nautilus/docs subdir: http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/nautilus/docs/
