Patch for nautilus can show tooltips, about file size, free space on volume, data modified and file type etc.One should set gconf /apps/nauitlus/icon_view/captions for more additional intertesting text to show in tooltips.
Future development will make tooltip show disk space used of a directory, as what is in Windows. In fact I can show that now, but I think it is not so perfect in efficiency, so I didn't include it. I am seeking a more efficient deep counting opportunity of NauitlusFile.
