Nothing is impossible, but this is of very very high unlikelihood under
Linux for many reasons.

Most of the virus attacks under Windows, are scripting security holes. A
message comes in with a virus script attached, and Windows or the foolish
user opens the message, executing the macro or script. Then, because
Windows security is mostly a fiction foisted upon its users to make them
not grab their data and run screaming, that script can do quite a bit of
damage.
