On a side note, I had heard that Cinnamon has no accessibility with
Orca at all. Is this information incorrect? For those who are using
it, what needs to be done to get it working with Orca? I have been
hesitant to recommend Mint to visually impaired users exactly because
I thought Cinnamon was unusable with Orca and other assistive
technologies. It would be great if the information I have is in
error.
I tried latest mate and cinamon versions of linux mint and wasn't able
to get orca to do some talking.
i guess they don't ship orca with the live cd.
so a hard time to do something there.
I hope they might change that. once i read somewhere that linux mint
should be accessible. but i am unsure if this still is true or if this
was the case.
greetings,
simon
