It seems to me that Thunderbird requiring users use drag and drop seems
like a seriously bug in Thunderbird. What if a user cannot use a mouse,
but happens to be sighted, e.g. due to a physical disability? Should
that user be expected to install a screen reader and learn its commands
just to move some columns around??
FYI, drag and drop works with head tracking software, for example with
Eviacam.
I agree with you if Thunderbird implements such feature, I wouldn't ask
you about drag and drop but I've more hope on drag and drop on Orca than
on fixing all applications with such bugs, it's maybe the way the NVDA
guys had thank when they implement such feature.
Best regards,
Alex.
