Howdy,
this is is showing in a good way that nobody is knowing who is working
and on what is she/he working. This makes collaboration very hard and
also its frustrating for everybody in same time because there is no
collaboration or feedback.
that was the initial idea of the linux-a11y.org project and the
mumble/irc infra but its sadly not as much used as it should be. i think
more working together would improve the motivation and the success of
all projects. think we need to wire up a good team with helping each
other. for sure there would be more contribution if there would be a way
to get knowledge and feedback more easy. everybody is cooking in its
small kitchen and wonders why nobody tasts the food or come in to help
cutting onions.
i read a lot of names again and again. fore sure an a11y team could be
formed and would have an more great success.
just my 2 cents.
cheers chrys

Hey Alex,
Compiz Fusion, the magnification technology you guys use on Hypra, was
originally given cursor tracking by an F123 supported developer.
Various issues on GTK Toolkit were fixed with our help as well. You
can search on the archive of this list.
You will also find us on a press release from the Gnome Foundation,
and in other places.
Recent improvements to eSpeak-NG and also MBROLA ARM installation, and
more.
Since so little is received in support, I was not expecting the tone
in your message. We certainly wish we had been able to do more, and
plan to do more moving forward, but with an attitude of partnership.

Just FYI: F123 is still contributing to accessibility work, as it
has for the last 10 years or so.
Our most recent work has to do with the usability of the Raspberry
Pi and Fenrir, for example:

Thank you Fernando for sharing this with us.
I'm so sorry but I don't understand what is the upstream
contributions of F123 on Mate, LibreOffice, Firefox, Thunderbird,
screen magnifier, PulseAudio or other big software?
They are the mostly used software in France on GNU/Linux for
visual-impaired and elderly people. Is it different in your country?
Best regards.
Alex.
