You are using the xine backend which isn't widely tested along with unofficial xine rpms and a rhythmbox compiled from scratch, this is not really the kind of setups which I like to debug/support... One of the new features in 0.8.5 was metadata loading using xine (for the xine backend), if this is enabled by default, you could try to disable it (using --with-metadata=monkeymedia) and see if that helps. Otherwise, try to get a backtrace of the crash and put it in bugzilla... Christophe
